Cheesy Nacho Bake

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 1/2 C sour cream
1 (9oz) pkg tortilla chips
8oz shredded cheese
garnish: tomato, green onion

Brown meat; drain. Add tomatoes, 1/2 C water and seasoning mix. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in 1 C sour cream. Place 1/2 of the chips in 13x9" pan; cover with 1/2 meat and 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Top with remaining sour cream, tomato and green onion.
