Ruth's Spaghetti Sauce

This one is from my grandma Ruth

2-2 1/2 cans tomato puree
2 small cans tomato paste
enough water to rinse out cans (about 1 cup)
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 1/2 lb fresh Italian sausage
1 whole head garlic crushed

Put first 6 ingredients in crock pot with 1/2 garlic. Brown meat in frying pan with 1/2 garlic. Add browned meat to sauce and simmer all day-at least 5 hours.
