Easy Chocolate Mousse

From Easy Everyday Cooking Delicious Desserts Card #13

You might want to double this recipe. I made it for some friends that came over. One of those friends was pregnant, and she said "Isn't there more? How can you expect me to only eat this little bit?!!" It was VERY good.

1 1/2 C miniature (or 15 large) marshmallows
1/3 C milk
36 milk chocolate kisses (or 1 C semisweet morsels)
3/4 C whipping cream
1/8 tsp almond extract
4 chocolate kisses, optional

Heat marshmallows and milk in small saucepan over low heat, stirring continually until marshmallows melt, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Chop chocolate; add to marshmallow mixture in saucepan. Heat over low, stirring continually, until chocolate melts, about 2 minutes; let stand at room temperature until cooled. Beat whipping cream until stiff. Set half aside. Fold the chocolate mixture into half of the whipped cream. Spoon into 4 dessert or parfait glasses. Fold almond extract into remaining whipped cream; spoon onto chocolate mixture. Top each serving with a kiss. Chill until ready to serve.
