Chocolate Syrup Frosting

From the Cake Mix Doctor

8 Tbsp butter, room temperature
1/2 C unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 C chocolate syrup
3 C confectioner's sugar, sifted (measure, then sift)
1 Tbsp milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Place butter, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup in a large mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer on low speed until just combined, 30 seconds. Stop the machine and add the sugar, milk and vanilla. Blend on low speed until the sugar is incorporated, 1 minute. Increase the speed to medium and beat until light and fluffy, 1 minute more.
