T-Bone Steaks with Bacon-Mushroom Sauce

From A.1. Steakhouse Favorites

5 slices bacon, cut into 1/4" pieces
1 (8oz) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
3/4 C A.1. Original Steak Sauce
1/4 C dry sherry or water
1 tsp packed brown sugar
2 (1lb) beef loin T-Bone steaks, 1" thick

Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Drain bacon on paper towels.
Cook and stir mushrooms in drippings for 5 minutes or until tender.
Stir in steak sauce, dry sherry or water, brown sugar and cooked bacon; heat to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes. Keep sauce warm.
Grill or broil steaks for 7-9 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Serve with warm mushroom sauce.
