1 C butter
1/4 tsp salt
2 C sugar
1 egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 C sour cream
4 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Cream together butter, sugar and salt. Add beaten egg. Blend in vanilla and sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 375 for 9-12 minutes or until edges start to turn golden brown. Cool completely.
