Sausage Hors d'Oeuvres

From Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen – Trisha Yearwood

1lb spicy pork sausage
10oz cheddar cheese, grated
3 C baking mix, such as Bisquick or self-rising flour
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375.
Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the sausage, cheese, and baking mix and beat on low speed until blended. Add salt and pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into 1” balls and place them 1” apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until browned. Drain on paper towels and serve.
