1 pkg devils food cake
12oz evaporated milk
2 1/2 C sugar
25 large marshmallows
14oz coconut
1/2 C butter
2 C semisweet chocolate chips
sliced almonds
Mix and bake cake per directions. In a saucepan, combine half of evaporated milk and 1 1/2 C sugar, bring to rapid boil. Remove from heat; add marshmallows. Stir until melted. Add coconut; pour mixture over cake. In saucepan, combine remaining sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Add butter and chocolate chips; mix in almonds and pour mixture on top of cake. Chill 2 hours. (No almonds=Mounds Cake).
Tastes best if made a day ahead
