Turkey 'n Italian Sausage Cheeseburgers

From Pillsbury Food For Friends

4 (7x3") hoagie buns or 8 (3.5x2.5") French rolls
3 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
3/4 lb ground turkey
1/2 lb hot Italian sausage
1/4 C finely chopped onion
1/4 C chopped fresh mushrooms
1/4 C chopped green bell pepper
1/4 C chili sauce
1 Tbsp dry bread crumbs
2oz thinly sliced colby/Monterey Jack cheese blend

Slice hoagie buns in half lengthwise; spread each cut-side with about 1 teaspoon margarine. Place cut side up on ungreased broiler pan. Broil 6" from heat 1-2 minutes or until light golden brown; set aside.
In medium bowl, combine turkey, sausage, onion, mushrooms, bell pepper, chili sauce and bread crumbs; mix well. Divide into fourths (eighths if using rolls). Shape each into a rectangle to fit the bun.
Place on broiler pan; broil 6" from heat 5-8 minutes or until browned; turn and broil additional 5-6 minutes or until browned. Top with cheese slices. Broil 10-20 seconds or until melted. Serve in toasted hoagie buns with desired condiments. 4 sandwiches.
