Beef & Potatoes-crock pot

2 lb ground beef
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp salt
6 medium potatoes
1/2 tsp pepper
1 C light cream
1/4 C finely copped onions

In large skillet, brown beef. Drain. In small bowl, mix salt, pepper, onion & soup. Peel & slice potatoes. In crock pot, alternate layers of potatoes & meat, starting with potatoes. Pour soup mix on top. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Turn to high. Pour cream over top, cook on high 15-20 minutes.
