1 frying chicken, cut up
2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
1 pinch each salt & pepper
2 Tbsp Italian salad dressing mix (dry)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
6 oz cream cheese, cubed
1/2 C Sauternes wine or Sherry
1 Tbsp chopped onion
Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Place in crock pot and sprinkle dry mix over all. Cook on low 6-7 hours. 45 minutes before end, mix soup, cream cheese, wine and onion. Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken; cook another 45 minutes.
