Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

2 C flour
2/3 C sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 C chopped pecans
2 lg eggs, beaten
1/2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C mashed, ripe banana
1/3 C vegetable oil

Grease 4 1/2 x 8 1/2" loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in pecans and chocolate. Blend together banana, eggs and oil. Add to flour mixture. Turn into pan and bake 1 hour 10 minutes or until cake tests done with toothpick inserted in center. Cool before slicing.
